The oral cavity is a potential site of infection and replication of the SARS-CoV-2 virus during the initial stage of COVID-19. SARS-CoV-2 is an enveloped virus of the Coronaviridae family. Its outer envelope (pericapsid) consists of a phospholipid bilayer membrane.

ViruBLOC Oral Fresh is composed of 3 main ingredients: glycerol, sorbitol, and Nicomenthyl® (menthyl nicotinate, a vitamin B3 derivative), acting in synergy to create an efficient triple action of chemical-physical and mechanical nature:
- TRAP: glycerol and sorbitol create a transient and osmotically-active mucoadhesive barrier, which traps the viruses.
- DEACTIVATE: the lipid/amphiphilic structure (i.e., having both hydrophobic and hydrophilic properties) of Nicomenthyl® interferes with the viruses’ pericapsids (which also have a lipid/amphiphilic structure), disrupting their molecular conformation and preventing them from penetrating and infecting the cells.
- PROTECT: the barrier created by ViruBLOC Oral Fresh protects the oral cavity and the throat, helping to strengthen the natural of humectation, hydration and defense of mucous secretions.

Do not exceed the recommended dose. Do not use this product continuously for more than 30 days in a row.
Do not spray into eyes or areas other than the oral cavity. In case of accidental eye contact, rinse thoroughly with running water.
Do not use if its packaging is open or damaged.
Do not use after its expiry date. The expiry date refers to the product stored correctly in undamaged packaging.
Application on children should be done by an adult.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Rinse the applicator under running water and dry it before putting the cap back on.
Do not share this medical device with anyone else to reduce the risk of virus spread and cross-contamination.
